Funding Opportunities
The Komen Evansville Tri-State Affiliate is currently offering grants up to $1,000 to support breast health education projects and travel scholarships, and up to $5,000 for conference sponsorships.

Important Dates
Small Grants Applications are accepted throughout the year.  However, requests for support of travel scholarships, conferences, or other events must be received at least eight weeks prior to the event.   All Small Grant applications must be approved by the Evansville Tri-State Affiliate Board of Directors.

Eligibility
Applicants and institutions must conform to the following eligibility criteria to be considered for funding:

• Applicants must ensure that all past and current Komen-funded grants or awards are up-to-date and in compliance with Komen requirements.
• Facilities and organizations are limited to one application of each type per year.
• Institutions must be located in or providing services to one or more of the following locations:
• In Illinois:  Edwards, Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Lawrence, Richland, Saline, Wabash, Wayne and White counties.
• In Indiana:  Daviess, Dubois, Gibson, Knox, Perry, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh and Warrick counties. 
• In Kentucky:  Crittenden, Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, Hopkins, McLean, Union and Webster counties.
• Project must be specific to breast health and/or breast cancer
• The applicant must be a non-profit organization with federal tax exemption.  Individuals may not receive grants.
• Funding requests should not be for a project that would normally be eligible for funding through the yearly peer-reviewed Komen Grant process.

If you apply for a Small Grant Travel Grant, you will need to fill out the Summary Report for Travel Grants, which is due within 45 days of event.

If you apply for a Small Grant or Small Education Grant, you will need to fill out the Summary Report for Small and Conference Grants, within 45 days of event.
