New Name: Evansville Tri-State Affiliate

Greater Evansville Affiliate is now the Evansville Tri-State Affiliate

The Greater Evansville Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure was founded in 1998. Here we are, thirteen years later, and we realize that we are much more than just a Race for the Cure. We are an Affiliate that provides grant funding and education services to the entire 28 county service area. We are an Affiliate with fundraisers in all three states. We are an Affiliate that belongs to and is active in five different Chambers of Commerce in all three states. We are an Affiliate that has established relationships with state and federal legislators in all three states. Relationships that have allowed us to improve the way the Breast and Cervial Cancer Programs are administered. We are an Affiliate that hosts a Race for the Cure with participation from all 28 counties in all three states. WE are an Affiliate, but we can't continue our work without the Race and other annual fundraisers. So, in order to reflect our presence in the community and be more inclusive for the entries area that we service, we polled our Race participants and our grantees. We are proud to unveil the name that was chosen - the Evansville Tri-State Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®!
