Energizing Indiana Free Home Assessments Benefit the Evansville Tri-State Affiliate
Energizing Indiana is a united effort by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission, participating utilities, and consumer organizations to offer comprehensive energy efficiency programs that bring savings to communities across the state.Through Energizing Indiana, Residential Home Energy Assessments are performed to help improve the comfort and efficiency of your home. All assessments can raise your home's performance, lower energy bills, improve in-home air quality and increase your home's value. Along with each assessment comes a kit to help make your home more energy efficient.

Assessments are performed free of charge and kits are also free of charge after your assessment. For each assessment that is performed, $25 will be donated back to the Evansville Tri-State Affiliate. 

You qualify for a Home Energy Assessment if:

• Homes must be in Indiana and have electric service provided by Vectren, Duke, IPL, NIMSCO, IMPA, or Indiana-Michigan.
• Homes must be at least 10 years old
• Can be owned or rented
• Must be single family, duplex, tri-plex, quad, or mobile home, and cannot be stacked one on top of the other.
